Water Damage

Emergency response time to your property for a water loss is critical to minimizing the damage to your building. Every hour that passes can mean tens of thousands of dollars in additional cost and damage. Roadrunner Restoration provides a qualified team of people that will respond immediately, operates with knowledge and professionalism, and all supervisors are IICRC certified. You will have a dedicated team to help guide you throughout the entire process. We are devoted to getting your property back to pre-loss conditions in a timely manner.

Whether the damage is from a busted pipe, sewer line backup, fire-related incident, or weather-related flood, it is extremely important to get water extracted, and the structure dried quickly. This will help prevent secondary damage from occurring in your building and limit business interruption. Roadrunner’s team of experts are trained, certified, and proficient in every step of this process. We will work directly with you and if you file a claim, with your insurance company to provide moisture mapping, appropriate equipment calculations, necessary daily monitoring, and documentation to your adjuster for an approved scope of work.

Mold Damage

Remediation of mold and other environmental spores is an important tedious process. Roadrunner offers extensive experience with mold identification and removal. With the proper environment, mold can grow in 48-72 hours. To help you and your employees avoid respiratory problems and microbial growth, it is imperative that we identify and address these situations promptly. In certain instances, it is a state law that we involve a hygienist and follow a mold protocol for proper disposal and removal of the toxins. We have our MRC license which is provided by Texas Department of License and Regulations (TDLR). If other restoration companies do not have this license, they can only remove 25 contiguous square feet or less.

HVAC systems that are not maintained are notorious breeding grounds for mold and bacteria, as well as the normal accumulation of dust over a long period of time. Mold and toxic spores can also occur after a water damage or fire loss if mitigation is not started in a timely manner. We will respond to your challenges and restore your business back to purified air that is safe and breathable.

As a 24-hour full-service restoration and construction company, Roadrunner Restoration can proficiently manage the entire project from start to finish with a team dedicated to you. Fire Damage

A fire loss can cause significant damage to your office and smoke can travel though the HVAC system causing substantial soot damage to your property and contents.

It is imperative to possess the knowledge for what structural components should be cleaned as opposed to what should be removed. Roadrunner will secure your property and put-up containments to keep others from trespassing on your property and getting hurt or contaminating the scene if further investigation needs to take place for cause and origin.

We can provide temporary power to your property to get the electricity back on so we can begin the recovery process to your building. We will assess the extent of the damage to the property and content and let you know the proper steps to getting you back in business with limited interruptions. We will carefully examine all the debris on the floor to make sure we collect important documents and keep sake items and get them sent out for proper restoration. A thorough cleaning will be done to the walls with an SRF (Soot Removal Film) product to ensure all the soot and smell are properly removed from your facility.

Content Cleaning

There are some items in your office that may not cost a lot but are irreplaceable because they are important documents. Time plays a crucial part in preventing further damage to your unique items. We will take pictures of all your items and do an inventory of what is salvageable and non-salvageable. Non salvageable will be disposed of and you can use this report if you file a claim for your adjuster or for business purposes on what needs to be replaced. Salvageable items will be cleaned, wrapped in paper or bubble wrap, and moved to a brand-new box and stored in our warehouse for safe keeping. If you ever need an item out of these boxes, you can come to the warehouse and pick it up with ease knowing what box each item is located within.

There are important processes and procedures on how to properly clean and store all types of items. For instance, artwork will be stored in wooden crates, rugs will be cleaned if deemed salvageable and dried, furniture may be repaired or replaced, depending on the damage. Roadrunner is here to ensure this process will be as seamless as possible while trying to salvage as many items as possible.

Biohazard

We realize the vulnerability of your position and will handle it professionally and will be thoughtful and sensitive towards your situation. Hazardous waste comes in many different forms. If it is left unattended, harmful substances can grow and affect your health. Blood can spread harmful diseases like hepatitis and tuberculosis.

Once the police have completed their investigation of the crime scene, clean up can begin. We use the proper industry and state required personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure our employees safety. It is imperative to wear a full body suite and keep all mucous membranes accurately covered. Our employees must be fitted for a full or half face respirator including PAPR mask and correctly follow OSHA guidelines.

We will properly dispose of all hazardous waste and keep up with appropriate recordkeeping. There are proper rules you must follow and permits you must have for cleaning, packaging, and disposal of chemicals and waste. There are specific dumping sites that you must take your waste to for discarding.

Asbestos

Asbestos and lead are both hazardous substances. There are six types of asbestos that can be found in a home’s insulation, HVAC system, flooring, and other hidden areas. For all commercial buildings, you should consider testing for asbestos so you can feel secure your employees are protected. We will get an environmentalist out to your location to test for toxic minerals.

Lead can be found in a variety of materials withing your office and are highly toxic to human organs like the brain, kidney, and the cardiovascular system.

We will contain these affected areas and prevent cross contamination and remove all the material which contains the asbestos or lead. We will clean all the surrounding materials and then dispose of the material properly according to state law. It is imperative for our employees to wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and keep all mucous membranes accurately covered. They also must be fitted for a full or half face respirator including PAPR mask and correctly follow OSHA guidelines.
